Glenhill
A remarkable extension to an early Victorian house and ancestral homeLocated on the cliffs above Walmer Castle and beach in East Kent, the project involves the construction of a replacement ‘wing’ to a charming family home known as Glenhill. The original house was built in 1842 by an ancestor of the current owners and has remained in the same family for over 150 years. The wing will replace an existing self contained annex, built as a later addition to the house, replacing it with up to date living accommodation with improved siting within the garden whilst capturing stunning views of the sea beyond. The project is seen as a legacy for future generations of the family to enjoy.
