This is a project for a client who owns a four storey semi-detached house in Ealing, West London. The client bought the house as two properties: a basement flat and an upper three storey maisonette. We were asked to prepare a masterplan for reconfiguring it back into a single dwelling; obtain planning permission for the change of use and prepare construction drawings to implement a first phase of works: to completely refurbish and extend the basement and ground floor levels. It is this first phase of work which is about to start on site.
