Jeremy King Architects is an award winning RIBA Chartered Architecture and Design Practice
Since its foundation in 2002, Jeremy King Architects has developed a strong reputation for designing well considered contemporary buildings, often situated in complex and challenging locations. It takes on work across all sectors but has core competencies in residential design and projects that require the synthesis of modern design with historical and/or sensitive surroundings. The practice has become particularly skilled at winning planning permission for projects - including both New Build and Listed Buildings - within high quality Conservation Areas and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lately, its work on the reuse of agricultural Listed Buildings has been recognised by Historic England (the Government body tasked with protecting the historical environment of England) and used as an example of ‘best practice’ in its technical guidance publications.
Jeremy King Architects offers a full range of architectural advisory and technical services, from inception through to construction on site.

The practice uses passive/low energy design principles (in preference to the reliance on overly technical, and potentially expensive, responses) as a first step to producing buildings with sound sustainable qualities.
The studio is located in the coastal town of Deal, in East Kent, from where it operates on projects throughout the UK.
